Experiencing a disaster is devastating, whether it’s dealing with damage from a flood, facing the aftermath of a hurricane or recovering from a wildfire.  No matter what your needs may be, OnStar® Crisis Assist* can quickly help your team with routing, resources and crisis coordination.

Rely on supportive OnStar Advisors

During declared disaster periods, your drivers can press the OnStar button and say "Advisor" for 24/7 support from our OnStar Emergency Advisors.*

Coordinating emergency rescue and evacuation

Your drivers can push the red emergency button* to connect with an advisor and have the police, fire department or ambulance dispatched to their location as soon as possible.

Routing away from danger

Instruct your drivers to push the blue OnStar button to speak with an Advisor. They will be able to use GPS to help locate a safe route away from the crisis. Directions will display on the screens of your vehicles (if available), and the Advisor will remain on the line with your driver until they’re out of harm’s way.

Connecting drivers with their team and loved ones

By pushing the blue OnStar button and contacting an advisor, your drivers can stay in contact with their team and loved ones using in-vehicle Wi-Fi®.*

Finding food, water, fuel and shelter for drivers

If your drivers need emergency aid due to a disaster, they can push the blue OnStar button to contact an advisor who will find them support.

Staying updated on the current disaster

To receive OnStar Crisis Assist* updates during a crisis, your drivers can push the blue button in their vehicle.

Connecting to in-vehicle Wi-Fi

With an OnStar plan using data, your drivers can connect to in-vehicle Wi-Fi* across 18 total devices. To set this up, your drivers can hold down the push-to-talk button, say “Wi-Fi settings” and follow the center screen prompts.
